With only one more Christmas party on the horizon in Glasgow, that’s us nearly wrapped up for Christmas!
It’s been another great year and we’re proud to have continued our success across the globe as one of the top international party bands. There’s been a helluva lot of new clients booking us this year, many who have already rebooked us for next year. We couldn’t be prouder! So as the New Year draws nearer we look back on a truly successful year for Madhen. With 84 gigs under our belt and our busiest January to date, we are looking forward to another great year of events in 2018.
New Years Eve sees us at the world famous Alton Towers Resort. Alton Towers have booked us on numerous occasions over the years and it will be a pleasure to bring in the New Year with them this year.
Travelling The Globe In 2017
We travelled the globe extensively in 2017. We partied in:
Rome, Lisbon, Barcelona, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Jersey, Malta, Liverpool, Manchester and Bristol to name a few.
There have been so many highlights and we’ve got to meet some incredible new people and work with some of our awesome regular events people and party planners who we now regard as friends. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of those (old and new) who have contributed to the ongoing success of Madhen! We pride ourselves on relationships on and off the stage and all working to creating events for clients to truly remember.
If you look at the Testimonials section of our website you will see time and again that we deliver in every aspect of what we do. There are more event companies and bands than ever in this industry and it’s good that we stand tall within this ever growing world.
We feel that we get booked time and time again as ‘what you see is what you get’! We have to turn down a plethora of gigs every year as we never like to dilute the band. If you book Madhen, you get Madhen (whenever possible). Vocalists Helen and Matthew are one of our strongest selling points with their unique and dynamic chemistry both on and off stage.
As a band we all have our various roles off stage. We hope we’ve shown you a few of the things that happen behind the scenes in our blogs over this last year. We will add more info throughout this year on what happens in Madhen Towers to keep the machine rolling! Together with our Production team and other bands including CandyAmp and Chromatic, there’s a lot that goes into keeping on top of your game in an ever changing and evolving industry.
More Than Just A Party Band
We also pride ourselves on the fact that we’re considered by many to be more than just a party band. We are a band that happen to do covers…and like to think we do them well. We have created our unique mashups to keep the dance floor alight for whatever your occasion.
Through social media we receive thousands of positive comments and praise throughout the year and really value everyones kind words and support. We love seeing your photos and video posts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, so keep ‘em coming!
We’ve had the pleasure of performing for a host of weddings this year and wish all the love and happiness in the world to all of our newlyweds. It really is an honour to be a part of one of the most special days for a couple and their family and friends. We have plenty more weddings already in the diary for next year…maybe Harry and Meghan would like to add their seal of approval in May? It wouldn’t be our first royal engagement!
