FX Awards, Grosvenor Park Lane
Corporate events come in many forms, from product launches, conferences, as well as company anniversaries and now Christmas parties too. Annual Awards events are particularly important to us and we play in the region of 10-20 each year – many companies book us over and over again too which we feel shows we do a good job!
The FX Awards are one such event, held to recognise the very best in International Interior Design. This annual event takes place in the Great Room at Grosvenor House;probably one of the largest event spaces in London.
Make your Awards Event really stand out!
Madhen offer the option of playing live ‘Stings’ – musical introductions played as each award is announced and the recipient receives them. This makes for a really dynamic Awards section and is especially effective when the host is willing to interact with the band. Previous Awards events have seen the likes of Rob Brydon and Radio 6’s Shaun Keaveney join Madhen as guest vocalists! 50th Birthday Celebration – Barbie Style!
There’s nothing unusual about Madhen performing at a themed birthday party – but Chetna’s 50th Birthday was definitely no ordinary affair. Not least because it was an afternoon event, to an all-female guest list (husband and son excluded!) held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington. But what really make this party stand out was the Barbie- themed styling which transformed the ‘Conservatory’ in this beautiful hotel.
Guests embraced the theme whole-heartedly, as they were served food and drinks by ‘Butler’s in The Buff’ – all called Ken of course! Madhen played its part too, as Helen integrated vivid pink into all the band’s costumes.
Themed events
