6 gigs 7 days!

Last week was crazy with 6 gigs in 7 days…
Or 7 if you include our sister band CandyAmp

Christmas parties are already in full swing and last minute bookings are coming in thick and fast

A gig just in for CandyAmp – they’re are off to Venice on the 5th December to perform for Herbalife

We’re sad not to be going as we already had a gig booked at the Roundhouse, but we know that CandyAmp will do a great job too

Yesterday we were asked to perform at Old Billingsgate tonight – it’s all very last minute, but most welcome

Last week started off in Birmingham at Edgbaston Cricket Ground for the UK and Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG) annual conference
Great team involved, great audience and a great pleasure performing to an enthusiastic crowd

Father Ted star Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Dougal McGuire) won the audience over with a great stand up performance

Nina Conti was on just before us and she was amazing! Check her video out below

We got to use our exclusive MADHEN synced video backdrop projections on giant screens too

Below is a little MADHEN video from the gig!

London’s Planet Hollywood was our next stop for a great networking party.  Such a packed venue and a great reception when we took to the stage

Mark & Steve were onboard sorting the sound and lighting from MADHEN PRODUCTIONS

Mark received this beautiful birthday gift from us! Boom!

The team at Planet Hollywood looked after us so well. The chocolate muffins and cookies were to die for! We would highly recommend using this venue in the heart of London’s West End to anyone having a bash!

Thanks also to Jonathan Mountford and the team at

Made in Newton Streetwho sent us this lovely email:

Just a quick note to say thank you for a wonderful couple of sets at Planet Hollywood. You guys where fab!
We really appreciate that you turned things around at such short notice too.
Thank-you,
Jonathan
Many thanks to everyone for the lovely tweets and Facebook messages we received that evening too

The Grosvenor House Hotel was the venue of choice for the FX International Interior Design Awards

The Great Room was packed with a global audience and hosted by funny man Sean Lock

Prince William stayed in on Wednesday night looking after Prince George as the Duchess of Cambridge presented an award at the SportsAid Ball 2013 (#sportsball)

The event took place at Victoria Embankment Gardens and it was an honour to be asked back again to perform.  Some the UK’s finest sporting heroes were in attendance.  The Duchess is patron to the SportsAid charity and presented aspiring shooter Amber Hill  the ‘One-To-Watch’ award at the star-studded event

We’re looking forward to the New Years honours list to see if we’ve finally made it!!!!!

It was off to Peterborough Arena for a Masked Ball for UK company Coloplast on Friday night

Boy do these guys know how to party.

Video walls were in place again so we got to perform with our synced videos which seems to be almost the standard for us now. It adds so much more to the look and feel of our performance and we’re very proud of them. There’s not many bands in our field with bespoke synced video projections at present…watch this space!

We wanna thank the gorgeous Curtis Nice (CandyAmp) for performing with us as MADHEN’s Martyn was off on tour with Skakin’ Stevens in Poland!

We got so many positive comments both at the event and after on social media – we really hope to perform for you guys again soon!

To finish the week off we headed to the River Rooms at Millbank Tower in London for a surprise ‘ginger’ themed 40th birthday bash for Connor!

Andy was with CandyAmp performing in St Ives, so we were joined by a MADHEN favourite Jimmy Sims.

Luckily Jimmy is blessed with a full head and beard of the finest ginger hair (wig in pic) – we couldn’t have asked for more

It was a fun night with a room packed with Geri Halliwell’s, Keith Lemon’s, Vikings, Carrots, Ronald McDonald and a plethora of ginger wigs

We performed a set of 80’s hits followed by an hour of MADHEN’s finest party music! The crowd were awesome, it was a great way to end a busy week of gigs
