The strongest form of marketing for us is being seen to do what we do best – perform. After first seeing us three years ago at The Goodwood Revival racing driver Patrick Watts and his wife Pam, decided they’d like us to play at a Hollywood-themed party celebrating Patrick’s 60th and their daughter Aimee’s 21st birthdays.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel more like friends than the party entertainment. We finished the night partying with the entire family on stage. Patrick and Pam are now looking for another excuse for a party!
“Madhen you are the very, very best and we love you. Our friends were totally blown away by you. We will never have a party without you. Soo missing you. Can I be an oldie roadie???”
“Thank you Madhen for and amazing party!!
The entire party was up and dancing, there wasn’t a pair of still feet for miles! So many people have got in contact since the party asking who you were- we’ve already starting thinking of an excuse to have you back. Thank you for making the party xxxxxxx
With a busy calendar comes the challenge of managing logistics and travel. Unlike a typical ‘tour’ which is planned carefully, taking into consideration each neighbouring date and location, the nature of how our bookings are singularly received means we don’t have that luxury.
This saw Madhen jetting from Athens to East Yorkshire to play at Pippa and Will’s wedding. We got to our Athens hotel at 2am, ahead of a 5am wake up call to get our return flight, which was followed by a 4 hour drive to Yorkshire!
Having Madhen Productions’ technical resources meant we were able to send Tom, another of our team of excellent Madhen engineers, ahead of the band with PA and backline. On our arrival at 3pm everything was set up and ready for us to sound check ahead of the arrival of the guest’s at the beautiful home of Robin and Julia Smyth.
ASCN 2015 – Birmingham
After playing our 1st ASCN (Association of Stoma Care Nurses) conference in 2013 at Celtic Manor we were immediately booked for the next three annual conferences by ASCN Chair Judy Hanley! 800 nurses certainly know how to party, and we are only too happy to help them on their way! We can’t wait for Bournemouth in 2016! As you can see we’ve been pretty busy over the past few weeks, with a mix of weddings, private parties, international and corporate events. If you’re planning an event and need a band you can rely on to bring the party alive, then get in touch with us today.
If you’re looking for a party band to entertain your guests at your next event, then get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
