The MADHEN party never stops! We’ve had such a busy month, both with gigs all over the UK and abroad. Plus a lot of behind the scenes work too.
We drove to a beautiful part of the UK on the 5th of September.
Elvedon Forest was the location for a fun night. Thanks to Tom everyone at West End Studios.
Guy Richardson’s 21st birthday party had us jetting back over to Jersey for a beautiful event. We’d already performed at Guy’s sisters party a few years before.
Thanks to everyone involved and especially the Richardson’s for looking after us and making us feel so welcome in your home.
It was East London’s award winning Tramshed that was to host a great party on the 13th
The dressing room could not have been more apt for us MADHEN’s!
We recommend you go and check it this Grade II Listed gem out when you are out and about in the City of London
We were invited back to perform at the Goodwood Revival Ball which is a favourite night in the MADHEN calendar!
Previous years have seen us dress up in full Rocky Horror attire, Dr Zhivago and this year we were heading to the Wild West
The Goodwood Revival is a major event held every year at Goodwood House. One of Britain’s finest stately homes
Every year Lord March holds a charity ball during the long weekend and it’s always an amazing invite only event
So it was cowboy hats, boots and a huge sprinkling of rhinestones that we found ourselves in thanks to ‘Mama Hen’ Helen
The venue always looks out of this world thanks to an amazing team at Starlight Design
Here’s a little video we took from our FaceBook page
It was an incredible evening as always. We opened our set as with Rhinestone Cowboy, then continued a small medley of songs including Jolene and Cotton Eye Joe. The atmosphere is always electric and everyone flocked straight to the dance floor. We got to stay and enjoy our good friend DJ Lora keep the dance floor on fire for all the guests
Thanks to the incredible Theresa and everyone involved for another memorable night
We jetted off to the beautiful island of Malta on the 18th
The setting was beautiful with the harbour behind the stage
Mark Chant from Madhen Productions was on board too
We got to use our video backdrops too. Always enhances the MADHEN performance
Thanks to everyone for a beautiful evening
THE GORGEOUS NATASHA AND MADHEN’S MATTHEW
From Malta – we flew to Rome to change planes to fly onwards to our next destination. We landed in Nice and were greeted on the walkway and escorted like superstars through the airport to our transportation!
The journey through the French Riviera is breathtaking and after 30 minutes we arrived in beautiful Monaco
MATTHEW & HELEN QUICKLY GRAB A FEW RAYS!
MONTE CARLO BAY HOTEL
Here’s us sound checking ahead of the party!
Such a fun night with everyone from Marques. They really do make us feel a part of their annual party
Many thanks to Bob Seager and the entire team involved for a party to remember
Buxted Park Hotel was the next stop after landing safely back in the UK
Lisa and Tom’s wedding was a fun night and such a beautiful setting
Back in the tour van and we set off to Helmsley in North Yorkshire for Susanne’s 40th birthday party
A beautiful teepee greeted us on arrival
As did the family dog Pepper
Helen played Maria Von-Trapp to some of the children
DJ JAKEY CHAN HANGIN’ WITH THE HENS!
After a few electrical issues were sorted by a lovely local electrician, the night went really well. Such great friends and family. We’d like to thank Susanne for really looking after us all night
WEM – BER – LEY!
Yes we played at Wembley Stadium this month too!
Granted that it was a huge suite within the building, but it’s going on the MADHEN CV
Production Bureau had booked us to perform at a pharmaceutical event
The giant video screens looked amazing
We had the best view from our dressing room/suite
Martyn grabbed an opportunity to play his guitar within the stadium. Something to tell the grandkids!
Another great gig with a fantastic team
Thanks to all involved
From Wembley Stadium to Turkey!
It was another flight this month to entertain the Wella Trendsetters from around the world
We arrived in Turkey the night before the gig. We stayed at the Adam & Eve Hotel which was like something out of Blade Runner!
Mirrors everywhere and vast corridors. It also contains the longest bar in the world!
Would you Adam & Eve it?
It was great waking up with a few hours to kill in the Turkish sunshine
A great team at WRG had created a spectacular room with giant video screens and a runway for Wella’s awards dinner
MADHEN’s Andy has taught the likes of Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss the art of runway strutting!
After sound check there’s was a little time to relax and watch the sunset before getting into costume ahead of the gig
As always Wella were a great crowd to perform for. Turkey you rocked!
So a fun filled September was had by us hen’s.
October is even busier…Farmers Weekly Ball, CandyAmp showcase, Camden’s KOKO and a helluva lot of travel…so far it’s going great guns!
Love from us all x x x x
