Rocky Horror at Goodwood

We had a fantastic night performing for Lord March and 1500 guests at the Goodwood Revival Halloween Party on the 18th September 2010

The nominated charity at this years Revival is a beautiful and historic church, Boxgrove Priory.  On the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the 12th century priory is a particularly poignant choice, as it is the last resting place of Pilot Officer Billy Fiske, who flew from RAF Tangmere, and was the first American serviceman killed during World War II.  All funds raised will be used to improve accessibility to Boxgrove Priory for those with limited mobility.

Design excelled themselves again with decking out the huge marquee in full Halloween spectacle.  The three brides of Frankenstein took to the skies as they became aerialists performing over the crowds.  There were indoor fireworks and an amazing troupe of dancers performing Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ on the huge chequered dancefloor.

We opened our ‘MADHEN’ set with Matthew appearing from a coffin as The Rocky Horror Show’s Dr. Frank N. Furter singing ‘Sweet Transvestite’ and ‘Time Warp’

Below is some rough footage taken from the side of the stage. We’re hoping to get a proper version taken from the front very soon!

The audience were amazing in their fancy dress and flocked to the dancefloor in seconds.

The evening continued after our performance with our good friend the gorgeous DJ Lora who kept them on their feet till the wee small hours.

We had such a great night and were thanked by so many wonderful people that evening including Lord March himself who came and thanked us personally.
