We had a great day and evening at Brickendonbury Mansion in Hertford, Hertfordshire at Toni & Adam’s wedding. The bride Toni had seen us at a variety of events including the star studded ‘Music & Lyrics’ film premiere party at Floridita in the heart of London’s Soho. It was a great day and we were made to feel part of the happy couples special day.
Friends and family were ready to party as we took to the stage and we even had the pleasure of Toni’s father Tony Hadley, performing two songs with us. He sang Robert Palmer’s ‘Addicted To Love’ and below you can see a video of the Spandau Ballet frontman performing the Kaiser Chiefs ‘I Predict A Riot’ on stage with us. He came and thanked us all individually afterwards and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved who made it such a great night. The staff at the venue were brilliant, especially Scott & Andy. It was a beautiful setting for a wedding and even the odd shower didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Toni sent us this lovely message the next day:
Hey, sorry I didn’t get a chance to speak to u all, I was so busy with having to do the rounds!
I just wanted to say a huge thanku.
It was brilliant!
xx Toni xx
