To be as “mad as a March hare” is a phrase derived from the observed antics, only in the March breeding season of the European hare. The phrase is an allusion that can be used to refer to any other animal or human who behaves in the excitable and unpredictable manner of a “March hare”
Record Number Of Bookings
It seems that unpredictability is not exclusive to hares in March! For Madhen this month has gone ballistic! Like most established businesses we observe historic trading for emerging patterns to assist future planning, as well as providing a useful indicator to current performance. For several years we’ve noticed that March and April are generally quieter than most months – presumably because of the Easter Holidays that fluctuate between late March and April. Not so for 2017! We have an unprecedented number of bookings in March, competing with some of our busiest months ever!
Whilst the country braces itself for post-Brexit uncertainty, the feeling (certainly at Madhen) is one of confidence going forward. 2017 has more confirmed bookings at this stage than any previous year (50+ by end of Feb) with record numbers of monthly enquiries for our services. March will see us perform for a variety of industries: automotive, retail awards, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical, as well as a couple of huge charity events (our 6th consecutive year for the Joseph Foote Ball Brain Tumour Charity), and a prestigious slot at the Comic Relief Concert in London alongside top secret Pop royalty (more to come on this later this month!). And of course, not forgetting our 1st wedding of the year!
Positive Outlook for 2017
So whilst the world around seems to be going slightly mad, we’re embracing a different kind of crazy, with a real ‘spring’ in our step: excited about the busy months ahead as we continue to strive to be the best at what we do.
