As well as being one of the UK’s busiest party bands, Madhen has an expansive, highly experienced ‘backroom’ production team and an endless inventory of equipment: the engine room that is Madhen Productions. This covers everything from a small office presentation to headline acts in any of the world’s largest venues.
The skill to good production is to make the end product flawless in functionality and breath-taking in design, but the process of getting there should be as transparent and stress free to the end client as possible. Here at Madhen we’re proud to offer event productions that fit this description. We have a fantastic support team that enable us to support events including weddings, corporate events, film premieres, awards dinners and product launches.
The Virgin Holidays Festival
Virgin Holidays, have used Madhen as their party band at many events in the past. As part of their 30th Anniversary celebrations Madhen Productions were asked to take on the production of their mini-festival in West Sussex. The festival line up was:
• The Festival Sons (a folk covers band in the style of Mumford and Sons)
• Scouting For Girls
• Madhen
• DJs
They required, outdoor staging, power distribution and generators, outdoor ambient lighting as well as stage lighting, video wall, PA, DJ decks and crew. We were able to provide this equipment and oversee the event to ensure everything ran smoothly.
How do we do it?
The run up to event’s like this is always about maintaining clear communication with the client and artists so that once the event arrives it runs smoothly and fulfils the client’s vision for the day. The only way to do this is with a solid schedule for the day, a reliable, highly skilled crew and an experienced friendly production manager who can make strong decisions and be on hand for the client, even whilst hobbling on a broken foot (but that’s a story for a different day.)
We’re proud to say there were no hiccups and we excelled in delivering everything the client required to the highest standards. It’s always rewarding when the client is confident enough in the team to be relaxed, smiling and sharing jokes and laughs throughout the day. This is what the client had to say in an email to our production manager Mark after the Event:
