What can we say! The performance of MADHEN at our daughter’s wedding last Saturday at Linden Hall was absolutely fabulous. Although the band didn’t get on stage until around midnight, you kept the dance floor full for the next two hours, which was a remarkable feat considering that everyone had been on the go since mid afternoon. Without exception all our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the band’s performance.
Chris, our new son-in-law, was the one who chose to ask you to play at our daughter’s wedding reception and he promised us that we would have a show to remember. He was not wrong!! The band gave an extremely polished performance, delivered a wide variety of music to suit a range of tastes across a, number of generations and without hardly taking a break.
Although my husband and I personally thanked each member of the band individually at the end of your performance, please accept once again on behalf of MADHEN, our heartfelt thanks and those of the bride and groom, and indeed all our guests, for helping to make the day the success it turned out to be.

I have to admit that I was a little anxious having booked the band just from finding your promo CD in our files and being impressed by your Scissor Sisters look! So last night I waited with a combination of excitement and nervousness for your performance… and you all threw away those tensions in the opening song. The client too was very happy last night—she was one of the first up on the dance floor and I’m told this morning she was one of the last to sit down at the end!
I am now looking for an excuse to organise a party for myself so you can perform at it—I can then have my opportunity to join the crowds on the dance floor! Maybe I’ll just have to wait until my big 30th.

Just wanted to thank you and the whole band for giving an absolutely amazing performance at our wedding on 27th June. You were so energetic and finely tuned, and got everyone up and dancing right from the very start till the very end. Em and I had a fantastic time, as well as everyone else—many people have commented on how good you were and think you even managed to get a few hardened non-dancers up on the dancefloor!
In particular thank you for doing our first song—I know you don’t normally do them—but it was perfect and think you gave everyone else the confidence to sing along for us, which Em and I loved.

What can I say—you were AMAZING! Of course I knew that you were going to be brilliant because I had seen you at Billingsgate before Christmas, but you were even better than I was expecting. Your setup was fantastic, and things worked brilliantly with the production team. It just worked so smoothly (apart from when we walked into your dressing room and it was full of chairs—soooooooooooooo sorry about that!!!) and your advice on a few small changes to the running order was really appreciated.
I couldn’t recommend you more highly to anyone thinking about hiring a band. So many people commented on how fantastic you were and that you made their evenings.
