For the second year running Madhen flew over to Jersey to perform for Ogier’s Summer Party

Everyone was in fancy dress and ready to party when we took to the stage

We’d like to thank everyone who looked after us and made us feel so welcome, especially Rachael. We were treated like royalty!

We received a lovely email from Emma Symonds on behalf of the company on our return:

Happy Birthday To Ya…

It was off to Polebrook Hall in Northamptonshire on 4th July to celebrate Caspar’s 40th birthday. His wife Louise had organised a brilliant party in a grand marquee. We enjoyed watching the spectacular air display by The Blades who were there to perform over the beautiful Summer skies.

It was our first Madhen gig with DJ Justin Charles and was great to be on stage playing live alongside Justin’s DJ’ing!

Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love‘ mixed live into Punjabi MC and the crowd went wild! It adds a new dimension to what we do and means we can update our play list all the time to keep very current.  We finished our first set with Eurythmics ‘Sweet Dreams‘ mixed with Dizzee Rascal’s smash-hit ‘Bonkers’ which went down a storm.

We were really made very welcome and had an absolute blast. We’d like to extend our thanks to all involved who looked after us all evening. Louise sent us a lovely personal thank you via email:

You were all AWESOME.  You made the party – so extraordinary.

Thanks to all at Madhen.  I know I’ll be speaking to you again about future events, and I will also give your name to anyone who asks if I may.

Justin was great – he played til 4a.m. in the house, thanks to him too for that.  My kids loved it too.
I hope from your end things ran smoothly and you had enough to eat and drink etc.
